1. About These Terms

These terms govern your use of the OurTicketGrid platform at ourticketgrid.com, operated by OurGrid ("we", "us", "our"). By using our platform — whether as a ticket buyer or an event organiser — you agree to these terms.

2. For Ticket Buyers

2.1 Purchasing Tickets

• When you purchase a ticket, you enter into a contract with the event organiser (the merchant), not with OurTicketGrid.
• We act as the technology platform facilitating the sale.
• Ticket availability is not guaranteed until payment is confirmed.
• You must provide accurate personal information when purchasing tickets.

2.2 Ticket Delivery

• Tickets are delivered electronically via email with QR codes.
• You are responsible for keeping your ticket and QR code secure.
• Each ticket/QR code can only be used once for check-in.

2.3 Event Changes & Cancellations

• Event organisers are responsible for communicating any changes to their events.
• If an event is cancelled, the organiser is responsible for issuing refunds.
• OurTicketGrid is not liable for event cancellations, changes, or the quality of events.

3. For Event Organisers (Merchants)

3.1 Account Registration

• You must provide accurate business information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• One business per account. Multiple venues can be managed within a single account.

3.2 Event Listings

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your event listings, pricing, and descriptions.
• You must not list events that are illegal, fraudulent, or misleading.
• We reserve the right to remove any event listing that violates these terms.

3.3 Payments & Fees

• Platform fees are charged per your selected plan (PAYG, Pro, or Enterprise).
• Payments are processed via Stripe. You must connect a valid Stripe account to receive payouts.
• Platform fees are deducted automatically from each transaction.
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes on your ticket sales.

3.4 Refunds

• You are responsible for your own refund policy and communicating it to buyers.
• Refunds can be issued through the OurTicketGrid dashboard.
• When a refund is issued, the platform fee is not returned.

3.5 Data Responsibilities

• You act as the data controller for your customers' personal data.
• OurTicketGrid acts as data processor on your behalf.
• You must comply with UK GDPR and all applicable data protection laws.
• You must not use customer data obtained through OurTicketGrid for unsolicited marketing without proper consent.

4. Prohibited Uses

You must not:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the platform
• Resell tickets obtained through the platform at inflated prices (unless permitted by the event organiser)

5. Intellectual Property

The OurTicketGrid name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. Event organisers retain ownership of their event content, branding, and customer relationships.

6. Limitation of Liability

• OurTicketGrid provides the platform "as is" and does not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• We are not liable for losses arising from event cancellations, payment processing delays, or third-party service failures.
• Our total liability is limited to the platform fees you have paid in the preceding 12 months.

7. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Outstanding obligations (refund responsibilities, fees owed) survive termination.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
